Your aggregate space is increasing frequently however your allocated space is less than the aggregate space and space is available in volume.
There are following reasons for this cause:
- LUN utilization is high and volume options set to Auto grow.
- Snapshot is created on Virtual Machine on ESX Server Datastore is created on that LUN and Space is provisioned to Virtual machine through Datastore and snapshot is created on Virtual machine and not been deleted.
Resolutions:
Delete the snapshot and deletion of snapshot will increase the space in Aggregate level.
